As a first-time author, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than the one I had with Simply Francis Publishing. From the very beginning, I felt genuinely cared for and supported. They didn’t just handle my 15-day devotion as a project but an individual opportunity to grow in my craft as a writer—they walked beside me through every step of the journey. Their hands-on approach and willingness to guide me made all the difference, especially when I felt uncertain or overwhelmed by the process.

What meant the most to me was how quickly and kindly they responded to my questions and concerns. I never felt alone; every message I sent was answered with encouragement, clarity, and warmth. Their positive feedback not only strengthened my work but also reminded me why I began writing in the first place.

Simply Francis Publishing brings both professionalism and heart to what they do. They champion their authors, celebrate their progress, and handle each project with care and integrity. I’m deeply grateful for their dedication and for the way they helped bring my vision to life. Partnering with them wasn’t just a business decision—it was a blessing, and I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone beginning their publishing journey..

I had a very enjoyable experience working with simply francis in bringing my first book to life. As a first-time author, I greatly appreciated their editorial guidance, clear communication, and steady support throughout the process. Their team guided me through each step with professionalism and encouragement, making what could have been an intimidating experience both smooth and rewarding. I’m grateful for the care and attention they brought to the project and for helping make the journey of publishing my first book such a satisfying one

— David Jones III, The Unlikely Life of Oliver Atkinson

I have had two books published through simply francis publishing. I learned a lot about writing from Frank and Rhonda during the editing process for my first book. This helped a great deal in writing and editing my second book. The process of editing was much faster this time as I had learned so much from their advice the first go around.

The speed at which they helped me get the second book out was faster than expected but without a loss in quality. simply francis publishing and their staff are extremely efficient and responsive to questions. Between learning more about the writing process, efficient editing/publishing process, affordability and even help and support after my books have been published, simply francis publishing is a clear choice for your publishing needs!

Friends… Friends were what I needed to write The Edgecombe Trilogy, a feat I was
never sure that I could complete until I met, via telephone, Rhonda and Frank Amoroso.
What a perfect combination to nudge me, to challenge me, especially to create a “better product.” Though perfection was never my goal, though cerebral was never my goal, but what was? My goal was to write words from the heart. These manuscripts were written years ago, so I had to revamp and reorganize frequent parts.

Frank helped me to see that life was not always smooth as I would like my characters to experience; therefore, I thought and researched issues and struggles of the times of the 1800s, which created storylines for them to face and figure out answers, hopefully to balance their difficulties and tilts. So, thank you, Frank, for helping me see and understand those necessities for my manuscripts.

And, Rhonda, thank you for responding quickly whenever I had a question, a thought, or
even just wanting your friendly voice at the other end of the line. And finally, I got to meet you at the local authors’ event last year. How wonderful to put your face with your voice.

Lastly, thanks to your formatter, who took strange requests and responded to achieve the personal desire to make the book covers mine and not someone’s generic attempt to capture the essence of each book.

I do appreciate everyone at Simply Francis Publishing Company who have made this journey a “fun ride.”

— Joanne Eagles Honeycutt, The Edgecombe Trilogy

Simply Francis Publishing helped make my dream of becoming an author come true. Frank and Rhonda took me through each step of the publishing process with so much patience. Their knowledge of the ins and outs of publishing a book, let alone a children’s book was flawless. Any questions or concerns I had during the process were answered in a professional and timely manner. I never felt like I didn’t have a say in how my book should look or be represented at the finishing point.

When I wrote Patti the Pachyderm Goes to a Party five years ago, I never believed it would become a published book, yet alone bought by so many people. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to not just work with Frank and Rhonda but to also find a forever friendship with them. Thank you, Simply Francis Publishing, and an extra special thank you Frank and Rhonda for everything. Here’s to looking forward to working on our next Patti the Pachyderm adventure together.

— Ellyn Riggins, Patti the Pachyderm Goes to a Party

As an established author, I approached the writing of my second book, Sacred Silence, with confidence, having previously collaborated with Simply Francis Publishing for my first book.

Once again, I decided to enlist the services of Simply Francis, and I was pleased to work with Frank and Rhonda Amoroso. They provided valuable suggestions that significantly enhanced my ability to engage readers effectively. Their guidance was instrumental in the development of my second book.

For those considering hiring an editor and publisher, I highly recommend Simply Francis Publishing. They offered consistent support throughout the process; whenever I encountered a challenge or had questions, I found them readily available. Most of the time, I was able to speak directly with one of them over the phone, and my emails were typically answered almost immediately.

As a result of their expertise and assistance, my second book is now available on the
market. Sacred Silence is a gripping exploration of the enduring conflict between good and evil.

I have to say I was extremely nervous when I started the process of publishing my first book!! I have a friend (Charlie LaDuca) that published a book so I reached out to him to see who he used and that’s when I was familiarized with Simply Francis Publishing Company.

I had an absolutely amazing experience. Frank and Rhonda were both incredibly supportive and attentive, guiding me through every step of the publishing process. They listened to my vision and helped bring Prep-Rep-Repeat, my story to life with professionalism!!

I look forward to working with them again in the future. They take pride in their work and I highly recommend them to any aspiring author!!

Bradley Barmore, Prep Rep Repeat

I had written some short stories in the past but nothing was ever published. Little three, four-page blurbs to my kids and short stories for my grandkids. Then on the ball field, of all places, I meet Frank Amoroso. I found out that he was an author, editor, and publisher. I told him that I had a story, in my heart, a few notes on paper, and I wanted to share but wasn’t sure how to proceed. He said to “keep the pen moving” and when I was ready, send him what I had.

I knew the opportunity was there so I went to work. I sent Frank what I had and he analyzed it like a mentoring school teacher. He called me and said, “You have something here.” We discussed many of the ways in which writers reach their audience. I dug deeper and researched and wrote some more.

Rhonda became part of the process. Since I was from Chicago, she questioned some areas of grammar, explained past tense, third person and so on and when it was appropriate to use each one. I made some changes. It was no longer a blurb or short story, Wisemen became a novel. It was a great team effort. Simply Francis took care of the legal issues, got all the numbers needed to publish my book and had an amazing artist designing the covers. When my book was delivered, I had tears in my eyes, holding my lifelong dream in my hands.

There is no doubt if I hadn’t met Frank and Rhonda my story would have never been told. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart. Two professionals with a special gift. Keep all those pens orchestrating out there, you’re making beautiful music.

Kenneth Burnett, Wisemen

In the acknowledgments of Frozen Angels, my first book of a trilogy, I recognized Frank and Rhonda as my two new best “lawyer friends,” who got me straight on all legal logistics in the book.  However, they likewise got me straight on some editing suggestions, which were needed.  After numerous conversations and emails, I can truthfully say these two became friends, not just professional acquaintances.

When I first wrote these manuscripts years ago, I felt the writing jag was for fun, but after tweaking for fun, I thought my toe needed to dip into the water of this publishing game. I do not think any other publishers could have relieved my anxiety of delving into the unknown, which publishing presented to me, as Frank and Rhonda.

Thanks, you two… Continue to help the newcomers to the realm of writing to produce a good finished product worth printing.

Joanne Honeycutt, Frozen Angels

Simply Francis Publishing made my Working with simply francis publishing company on the book Terrorfliegers, on which I collaborated with author Al Cooke, was an exceptional professional pleasure. Terrorfliegers, released in June 2023, is my 20th book and 8th on World War II. I was most impressed with simply francis’ attention to detail, prompt communications response and flow, acceptance of editorial suggestions, businesslike manner in working with both of us, and their quality finished product.

War and Chaos front Cover

I had just finished writing War and Chaos, Vol. 1 Stories of the Stars and was researching for publishers, and had found several. Being a new author I had no knowledge about the publishing process and wanted to find the right publisher. I mentioned the book to my daughter-in-law, Jennifer Braden, and she highly recommended I contact Frank and Rhonda Amoroso, and simply francis publishing. I am so thankful she did. I soon learned my book was not finished at all, it was just a work in progress. They patiently walked me through the process of taking my story and moving it toward a finished product. Revision after revision they encouraged me to “keep the pen moving.” Each revision and objective critique made me a better writer. Frank and Rhonda took special care with my work and were honest in their many critiques of the project. In the end, when they said the book was ready, I knew it was ready.

Frank and Rhonda led my ‘first book’ writing journey throughout the entire process: They were available on a timely basis dealing with my many questions and guided the process in every area from editing, page layout positioning, sizing of the photographs, and the book cover design. To my pleasant surprise they even handled the ISBNs and Library of Congress registration, and then provided me information about setting up book signings. Their staff even drafted the initial Press Release!

Thanks to their guidance, I just had my first book signing event on April 29th and consider it a huge success. I intend to submit my second book project to Frank and Rhonda in the very near future for publication consideration. I know they will honestly critique each phase of the process and will guide me in writing a second book that is worthy of publication. I highly recommend that any writer, new or experienced, contact simply francis publishing to be the publisher for his or her book project.

Waiting For Einstein

Simply Francis Publishing made my book a reality. Until their publishing team got involved, my book, Waiting for Einstein, was languishing in manuscript form with little hope of getting it anywhere near being published. From the cover design to the daunting, but very necessary, editing process, they kept me on track until I finally had a finished book. I constantly hear what a great cover design and many of my readers say that was one factor in picking up the book to consider it as their next read. As my sales start to climb, I am already looking forward to working with them on the next book in my series. They also help with ‘point of sale” signing and manage my account with Amazon sales. This keeps me free to write and do my book signing events without all the worry about the little things. They are one stop shopping for serious writers.

 — Author Robert J. Majeski, Waiting For Einstein

When I started the endeavor to write my first novel, I was completely lost. After contacting several large national publishers, I was completely stunned and dejected with their ridiculous requirements and fees. I considered not moving forward.

Fortunately, I was introduced to Frank and Rhonda Amoroso who gave me the encouragement to “keep the pen moving.” Not burdened with outrageous
requirements or exorbitant fees, I began my novel in earnest. Their guidance throughout the entire process was remarkable. They explained in detail the process I would be facing and they held my hand the entire time. Their expertise in editing, formatting and graphic design is second to none. Bottom line, I was able to write my novel within four months, in my own writing, not theirs. Getting the novel published and set up with Amazon and Barnes and Noble was completely handled by them. I did not have to worry about those details at all.

From the reviews we have received, the novel has been a success. It would not have been so without Frank and Rhonda. I encourage anyone who is contemplating on writing a novel, to work with Frank and Rhonda. You won’t regret it.

In 2003 I set out to write my first book, 101 All-Time Fantasy Baseball Teams. After 13 years of fits and starts, countless distractions, self, doubt, and a serious case of writer’s block I finished and it was published in 2016. When I finished the first draft I thought the hard part was behind me. Not true!

The next steps were finding an editor, a lawyer, a front and back cover designer, and finally a publisher. I wrote, emailed, or visited dozens of publishers. Almost all liked my book, yet for whatever reason declined to publish it. Luckily, I found Simply Francis. Frank and Rhonda Amoroso are knowledgeable, competent, and dedicated to working with authors. I heartily recommend them for all writers, and especially for new authors.

 — Author Jack Sweeney, 101 All-Time Fantasy Baseball Teams

Rhonda and Frank Amoroso of Simply Francis Publishing Company made my dream of authorship become reality. They worked closely with me to fashion my manuscript into a polished book. They gave excellent advice on everything- the cover, photographs, typeface, inclusion of a glossary and pagination. Simply Francis Publishing Company has a talented team that made the process educational and enjoyable. I felt like a friend, not just a client. As a first-time author I am delighted to have had the Simply Francis team publish my book, and I recommend them without reservation.

I was introduced to Frank and Rhonda through a mutual friend and author, David Hoff. David was very impressed with Simply Francis and encouraged me to reach out to Frank to discuss my children’s book. I had written Halloween is for Monsters”about ten years ago and after a couple of submissions to large publishing houses (and subsequent rejections), I put it in a drawer and moved on. But it was always in the back of my mind that I should at least try again someday. After a chance meeting with David, he introduced me to Frank and from then on, Simply Francis simply took over! They handled all the paperwork, found an awesome illustrator (Ms. Victoria Mikki), handled all the contract negotiations, dealt with Amazon, and set up the printing. Just a terrific experience all around and I would highly recommend Frank and Rhonda and their team to anyone with a dream to get their book out there! We will be starting our next book The Great Christmas Light Tangle soon.
 — Author Jeremy Phillips, Halloween is for Monsters
Frank, Rhonda, and the Simply Francis Publishing staff made publishing my first book extremely manageable and a great learning experience. I appreciated their care and honesty in helping edit my book by improving my writing rather than changing my writing style. I had high expectations for my book and they far exceeded my own expectations! I couldn’t be happier with the final product, the process, and the ongoing help even after the book’s release. If you’re a first time writer or even a seasoned veteran looking for a new path to publishing, you can’t go wrong with the care and effort Simply Francis Publishing will provide you!

Front cover of "Why is Larry Always Late?"
I was so excited to finally finish my first children’s book and present it to Rhonda and Frank. They were so encouraging and worked with me in an incredibly supportive manner. Simply Francis Publishing Company is a true gem! The personal relationship they build with you as a first time author and the time they put forth makes you feel like you are already a famous author! Becoming a published author was a lifelong dream of mine and Simply Francis Publishing made it a smooth, fun, learning experience. Thank you for the team approach and guiding hand that made my dream a reality!

 — Author R.S. Francis, Why is Larry Always Late?

I feel like I am friends with the people at Simply Francis Publishing even though I have not met them in person yet because of COVID.  They are very pleasant and easy to work with.  They did the chore I dreaded most: page layout, positioning and sizing of photographs, and integrating that with text, all very nicely done for me.  It seemed like they knew exactly what I would like for cover design. Things I was clueless about like ISBNs and the Library of Congress registration, they handled for me.  Their editorial comments were very helpful, and presented in a gentle and compassionate manner.

As a new author, Simply Francis Publishing has been great!  They helped me to understand “how” to write a novel.  Although I have published over thirty  scientific journal articles, writing a novel was an entirely new experience for me.

Frank and Rhonda Amoroso of Simply Francis Publishing helped me every step along the way. They helped me to understand that all the portions of the novel need to relate to the main character. This understanding helped me to develop the plot more easily.  They taught me to “show, not tell.”  Using characters from my novel, Frank gave me specific examples of how to “show.”  In my book, “The Haunted Life of Lura,” rather than me writing that two sisters argued, Frank taught me to say how the sisters stood, how they moved, and what they might say to one another.

In addition, they helped me with editing, developing a compelling cover, and creating a great product.  They were patient with my many edits, always responded promptly, and were understanding of my inexperience with novel writing.

Any writer, an accomplished author or a first-time novice will tell you that the most difficult part of creative writing is getting a book published. One writer friend with more than a dozen books published told me that the whole process might drive an author to the nut house. (In truth, I don’t think I have that far to drive.) I was experiencing the same frustrations and dead ends after writing my first book “A Short Season with Ernie- A Memoir” and I came close to giving up until I had an earnest conversation with Frank Amoroso, of simply francis publishing. I had shopped my manuscript to several publishers and after many weeks in some cases I received a terse response from an intern telling me that my manuscript did not “fit their current needs.”

I also looked briefly into self-publishing and found lots of hype about major publishing houses taking on my book, movie deals, etc., all at an astronomical cost in most cases with absolutely no guarantees of anything but a dent in my bank account. Frank laid out precisely what he could and would do and what the nominal costs would be for each step in the process, all the while emphasizing to me that it’s MY book and simply francis publishing would do whatever it takes to create a finished product that we can be proud of. I am very proud of what we did together, and when my next book is finished, I’ll bring the manuscript to simply francis publishing, and together we’ll go to work.

—Author Joe Seme, A Short Season with Ernie-A Memoir

I began writing a book several years ago. After two chapters, I was sidetracked putting the project on hold. I met Frank Amoroso playing together in Senior baseball tournaments. At some point, he told me he was an author and had written several books. I mentioned the book I started, and how at some point, I would like to finish it and get it published but had no idea where to start.

He encouraged me to start writing again, giving me valuable pointers along the way. Frank guided me through the process of turning my thoughts into book form. His company Simply Francis Publishing turned a raw manuscript from a newbie writer into a successful book. One that I am very proud of.

I can not say enough about Simply Francis Publishing. Frank and Rhonda, along with a group of dedicated individuals, made my dream come true. They take great pride in working diligently with writers to bring out their best.
